E-commerce giant Radial Inc. to open HBA fulfillment center near Atlanta

International e-commerce company Radial, Inc. will invest $40 million in opening a new fulfillment center in Locust Grove, Georgia, creating 344 full-time job opportunities and more than 1,000 seasonal opportunities in southeast metro Atlanta.

Radial, Inc. has been a subsidiary of bpost Group since 2017, and is a multinational leader in omnichannel commerce technologies, operations, and inventory management across a network of distribution centers. Radial’s new fulfillment center in Henry County will help support a nationally recognized health and beauty brand.

“We’re thrilled to be opening a new fulfillment center in the State of Georgia. This site will join our existing network of more than 20 fulfillment centers across the country,” said Senior Vice President of Radial, Inc. Fulfillment Services Ilias Simpson. “The demands on e-commerce throughout the year have been unprecedented and the opening of this facility in Locust Grove reinforces our commitment to our clients and our ability to support their e-commerce needs. We’re excited to be creating so many new jobs for Henry County residents and look forward to welcoming them to the Radial team.”

History

Radial was formed from the merger of Innotrac Corporation and the enterprise services unit of eBay Enterprise.

Merger

Sterling Partners, a private equity firm, acquired Innotrac on January 6, 2014, for $8.20 per share. The buyout totaled $108 million. Innotrac provided customer support and fulfillment services to retailers, software providers, and telecommunications companies.

On November 2, 2015, Sterling Partners acquired eBay Enterprise's operations and enterprise technology services division.Sterling Partners planned to merge Innotrac and the group from eBay Enterprise.[11]

The combined company, Radial, was announced on April 19, 2016. Sterling Partners estimated Radial's initial value at more than $1 billion.

In October 2017, the Belgian Post Group, also known as bpost, acquired Radial for $820 million.
