However, the coronavirus pandemic — among other factors — forced the retailer to delay Prime Day for the first time since it began the massive sales event in 2015. When is Amazon Prime Day going to start this year? The exact date of Prime Day 2020 has yet to be announced, but it’s rumored to take place in October, said CNBC’s Annie Palmer.
