The facility will occupy a 1.2 million square foot warehouse at The Gateway 14 site in Stowmarket.

The reserved matters application, from Gateway 14 Ltd, is the next step in development after a £200m investment by the retailer to help meet consumer demand in the South and South East.

Ben Oughton, Development Director of Jaynic, said: “We are committed to delivering a high specification building for The Range with sustainability a central feature of the project with a target delivery date of autumn 2023.”

Development is planned to start in January 2023 and will be completed later in the year.

Gateway 14 is being constructed at junction 50 of the A14 and will create about 1,650 new jobs.
